Welcome to Aerone. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your air quality data. This Privacy Policy explains how Aerone collects, processes, and protects your information in connection with the Aerone web application and the Aerpod X3 wearable crowdsourced air-quality sensor network.

2. Information We Collect

To provide real-time air quality index (AQI) tracking across India, we collect information across two categories:

• Feedback and Comments: When you submit comments using our feedback form, we collect your name, optional email address, written comment, and geographical context (city, state, and country derived from your network geolocation).
• Sensor Diagnostics: Aerone aggregates crowdsourced air readings including PM2.5, PM10, TVOC, carbon dioxide (CO₂), temperature, and humidity. These readings are automatically matched to coarse geolocation markers to paint the global AQI map.

3. Wearable Devices & Bluetooth Connectivity

If you connect an Aerpod X3 wearable device, the hardware relays air particulates from its local flow chambers to your phone via Bluetooth. We do not track or store your exact GPS tracking paths. All geolocation coordinates forwarded to our database are rounded to anonymised grid points to protect your personal routine.

4. Public Data Anonymisation

All air quality parameters shown on the live interactive Leaflet maps are anonymised. We do not share names, email addresses, or specific household locations alongside standard public map markers.

5. Data Sharing & Third-Party Integrations

We do not sell your personal data. We utilize selected third-party services to ensure security and interface delivery:

• Google Cloud reCAPTCHA Enterprise: We integrate reCAPTCHA Enterprise on comment submissions to analyze risk, block automated spam bots, and protect site database integrity. This processes device telemetry under Google's Privacy Policy.
• Map Services: We use CartoDB and OpenStreetMap map tiles to render geographical locations. These providers do not receive any of your personal details.

6. Data Security and Storage

Your feedback records and sensor records are stored securely in our databases. We employ standard SSL encryption and regular security updates to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, or data disclosure.

7. User Rights and Data Deletion

You have the right to request the deletion of your posted comments at any time. If you wish to remove your comment or request data information, please contact our support team.
